You are invited to celebrate the success of Return and Earn!
We value your support and participation in Return and Earn and we have achieved much in only 18 months.
Return and Earn has been a phenomenal success and has fundamentally changed people’s behaviour and thinking around litter.
Across NSW, more than two billion containers have been collected through Return and Earn with 4.7 million+ coming from UNSW's Reverse Vending Machine on campus.
This means that your commitment helped to reduce litter by 57 per cent and enabled the collection of clean streams of high-quality recycled materials.
To congratulate the UNSW community on these achievements Return and Earn in partnership with UNSW Sustainability will be hosting a free event on campus across two locations.
There will be two pop up stalls, one at the Library Walkway and another at the Quadrangle Building Level 1, on Tuesday 23rd July from mid-morning to mid-afternoon.
Visit either stand and have a chat, provide your feedback on the scheme, or get more tips on how you can fundraise for your Sustainability team with the Return and Earn.
There will be 1000 x Free Coffee Vouchers to give away – redeemable at selected cafes on campus if you bring your reusable coffee cup or if you are having there.
Return and Earn will be running a Competition at the stall - a Return and Earn Return-a-thon and a Social Media Competition.
How to Enter:
Visit the Return and Earn stand at the Library Walkway or the Quadrangle Building Level 1 to play a game of "Return as many containers as possible in 30 seconds."
Then, on your social media, take a selfie or record a short video with the Return and Earn 'Commitment Wall/Wall of Commodity" in the background; tell us what you love about the Return and Earn scheme and how you will use the funds raised through the scheme and then tag @returnandearn and use the hashtag #UNSWreturnandearn
The competition will run from 11am to 2pm on Tuesday 23rd of July 2019. Five $100 vouchers are up for grabs. Winners will be drawn on Wednesday 24th of July 2019 at Exchange for Change offices in Rhodes, NSW, 2138. Terms and Conditions for the Return-athon Apply.
